Our Process: Due to some species containing multiple natural colours, a toner is often applied as a first step in the staining process in order to equalize the colour. The chosen stain is then hand-applied and rubbed into the wood manually for equal coverage and absorption. Lastly, two coats of oven-cured topcoat is applied, hand-sanded after each coat. This topcoat treatment is the final touch that guarantees a beautiful, long-lasting stain.
